Timothy T. Deptudah is a 32-bar AABA form composition written in funk-rock style (A section) and latin feel (B section).

Melody is introduced with Flugelhorn and Tenor Saxophone, the rest of the horns add gradually. For the B section Alto Saxophone takes lead after Tenor. Chords for soloing are added to Flugelhorn, Tenor Saxophone, Guitar and Piano parts.

I recommend playing the horn background every 2nd repetition and Piano Solo should be the last before the I nterlude.

The original version of the tune was composed for my trio in 2008, in 2010 I arranged it for Big Band.

In 2026 I decided to make a revision and update to make it more playable and readable.

I hope you will like it and enjoy playing it.

For some inspiration you can look up this tune on BitMaP Collective's album titled "15" on all straming platforms.

If you have questions about the title Timothy T. Deptudah, it's nothing deep. Try and vocalize the bass riff. Tim-ty-tee-dep-tu-dah. . .

I know the Piano I nterlude can be challenging for some pianists. I n my experience they usually learn and play it in the end.

If not, I think this par t can be skipped and continued with the Drums Solo if necessary.
